聰明的人雅思口語(yǔ)范文:
Describe an intelligent person you know.
You should say:
who this person is
when and where you first met them
what kind of person they are
and explain why you think this person is intelligent.
考官參考范文:
Ok right then, well the person that I’d like to talk about is one of my university coursemates called Nick, because he’s honestly one of the smartest people I know. And we’ve been friends ever since I started university, because I found myself sitting next to him in our first lecture, and we (kind of) just got talking.
As for what kind of person he is, well um, I guess the best way to describe him would be sociable and likeable, coz I mean, although he’s a super smart guy, he’s not arrogant in the slightest, and he gets on well with pretty much everyone in my year.
Anyway, moving onto why I think he’s intelligent, well first of all, he always does really well in all our exams, you know, like coming top or second in most of them. And what’s amazing is that he doesn’t seem to study (all) that hard, but still manages to do so well. For example, as well as studying, he’s also got a part-time job, which I’m sure must take up quite a bit of his time. So it ‘s really impressive how he’s able to do this without it affecting his studies whatsoever.
And another thing is that whenever the lecturer asks a question, he always knows the answer, and sometimes he’ll just whisper it to me because he feels a bit embarrassed to answer every time!
So yeah, I’d say he’s a really clever guy, and I feel very lucky to have such a good friend.
雅思口語(yǔ)考官范文:從事有趣工作的人
Describe someone you know who has an interesting job
You should say
Who the person is
How you know them
What job they do
And explain why you think their job is interesting
考官范文:
Ok then well the person that I’d like to talk about is actually my sister, who is an events manager, and from what she’s told me, it sounds like a really interesting job, as I’ll come to explain in a moment.
But um, firstly, I guess I should briefly explain what she actually does in her job, and uh, to put it simply, she basically manages the planning and running of events. So that would include things like um, arranging the venue, uh getting everything set up, um.. what else…uh,…oh yeah, food of course, invitations, all that kind of stuff. So she finds it pretty challenging, what with all the responsibilities that come with the job, but also very rewarding, especially if the event went well.
Anyway, as for why I think it’s an interesting job, well um, I think it’s mainly due to the fact that it kind ofen compasses so many different things. And I mean, you know, every event she does is, in some way, different to what she’s done before. So as a result, she’s constantly, like, experiencing and learning new things. And also, you know, she travels all around the country putting on various events. Um… and in the process, she gets to meet a lot of different people, including celebrities, occasionally.
So yeah, I think these things are basically what make her job so interesting, and that’s kind of why she’s been doing this job for as long as she has. You know, I think she’s been doing it for something like 10 or 11 years, and I’m sure she wouldn’t have stuck to it for that long if it wasn’t interesting! Um…yeah, that’s pretty much it then. Thanks for listening.
雅思口語(yǔ)考官范文:做過(guò)錯(cuò)誤決定的人
Describe someone you know who made a wrong decision.
You should say:
who the person was
what the situation was
what decision they made
and explain why you think it was the wrong decision.
考官范文:
Ok well after thinking about it for a bit just now, the person I’ve decided to talk about is a younger cousin of mine, and as for what the situation was, well basically he was planning to open up a restaurant, which had been his dream since he was very young. But I guess like most people just starting out, he didn’t have all the resources and capital himself, so he thought it would be best to run the restaurant together with someone else. And so the decision he ended up making was to share the business with someone he was friends with at the time. However, he hadn’t known them for all that long, so it was a bit risky but he kind of just went with his gut instinct.
So anyway, what happened was that, to begin with, the restaurant actually started off doing really well. I mean, from what he told me, it was busy everyday, so it was all looking pretty good at first. But unfortunately later, when my cousin realized that more money was needed in order to cope with the initial growth, what happened was that his partner wasn’t willing to invest anything more into the restaurant, because she was basically happy with the way things were.
And because of their differences of opinion, they ended up just closing the restaurant and going their own separate ways, which was a huge pity, because it had got off to such a great start, and was already becoming really popular with the locals.
So it was a sad end, but at least I think my cousin learnt a lot from what happened. I mean, it was the first time he had ever tried starting up a business of any sort, so it was a good learning experience for him.
