GRE考試包括三部分：

第一部分為分析性寫(xiě)作部分(Analytical Writing)，時(shí)間為兩小時(shí)。該部分包括兩個(gè)任務(wù)，分別要求應(yīng)試者對(duì)一個(gè)問(wèn)題發(fā)表個(gè)人的觀點(diǎn)(Issue Task)和分析一個(gè)論點(diǎn)(Argument Task)。

第二部分為詞匯(Verbal)部分。該部分內(nèi)容很廣泛，涉及天文、地理、人文、科學(xué)、藝術(shù)、政治及歷史等領(lǐng)域;

第三部分為數(shù)學(xué)(Quantitative)部分。該部分皆為數(shù)理上的基本問(wèn)題，包括幾何、代數(shù)、統(tǒng)計(jì)圖表、智力測(cè)驗(yàn)等方面，主要目的在于測(cè)驗(yàn)考生基本數(shù)學(xué)的潛在能力和對(duì)數(shù)理方面問(wèn)題的理解判斷及推理反應(yīng)能力。題目難易和深淺程度，有時(shí)取決于考生對(duì)于題目敘述與說(shuō)明的理解。

新GRE改革后考試時(shí)間為一次考完，3個(gè)半小時(shí)，中間有時(shí)間簡(jiǎn)短休息，改革后新GRE每月有兩次考試機(jī)會(huì)。

考試流程具體如下：

1. 進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)

a) 9點(diǎn)半到達(dá)考場(chǎng)，先進(jìn)等候室，把你的證件和確認(rèn)信給監(jiān)考老師看，然后監(jiān)考老師給你一份協(xié)議書(shū)和一把儲(chǔ)物箱的鑰匙，要用黑色簽字筆填寫(xiě)協(xié)議書(shū)，自己沒(méi)帶可以找監(jiān)考人員要。協(xié)議內(nèi)容仍然是Confidentiality Agreement與個(gè)人信息，這一點(diǎn)與舊GRE考試的AW作文部分的'機(jī)考完全類似。填完協(xié)議書(shū)鎖好自己的物品之后就可以排隊(duì)進(jìn)考場(chǎng)了，此時(shí)你的手上拿著 兩個(gè)東西，一個(gè)是協(xié)議書(shū)，另外一個(gè)是身份證(確認(rèn)信自己放包里面，不帶進(jìn)考場(chǎng))。

b) 排隊(duì)進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)，先張開(kāi)手臂接受安檢，然后進(jìn)入一個(gè)房間照相，照完相才會(huì)告訴你考位號(hào)，把協(xié)議書(shū)放在照相的監(jiān)考人員那兒，此時(shí)你全身上下就只剩一張身份證，然后拿著身份證進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)找到自己的考位坐下即可。

2. 開(kāi)始考試

a) 進(jìn)入考場(chǎng)之后，面前的計(jì)算機(jī)界面不是ETS官方?？架浖牡谝粋€(gè)界面，而是有個(gè)人信息的check界面，還需要輸入開(kāi)始密碼。這些部分監(jiān)考老師都會(huì)協(xié)助你完成，所以無(wú)需擔(dān)心。

b) 開(kāi)始進(jìn)入考試界面之后，與官方?？架浖慕缑婊绢愃?，直接各種continue就行了。需要注意的一點(diǎn)是，在 正式開(kāi)始之前會(huì)有一個(gè)送分學(xué)校的選擇過(guò)程，同舊GRE的作文機(jī)考一致，需要事先記好你申請(qǐng)的專業(yè)院系和學(xué)校名稱以及學(xué)校位于美國(guó)的哪個(gè)州。

c) 選好送分學(xué)校之后進(jìn)入正式答題的界面仍然與?？架浖笾孪嗤?。首先第一個(gè)section一定是Analytical Writing部分，先是issue然后是argument，各30分鐘。其中，在每個(gè)section之間都有1分鐘的休息時(shí)間，在第3、4個(gè)section之間有10分鐘的休息時(shí)間，是否選擇休息由考生個(gè)人決定。

d) 在第三個(gè)section做完之后，會(huì)出現(xiàn)一個(gè)選擇界面，如果你想休息10分鐘，那就點(diǎn)擊選擇休息，然后監(jiān)考人員會(huì)過(guò)來(lái)領(lǐng)你出考場(chǎng)休息。

鑒于總是有考生不斷問(wèn)到這10分鐘休息到底做什么?

筆者有如下建議：

首先，鑒于整場(chǎng)考試長(zhǎng)達(dá)近4個(gè)小時(shí)，不在中間休息是很不利于自己的生理和心理的，建議各位考生選擇休息;

其次，休息的這10分鐘，你雖然出了考場(chǎng)，但是要問(wèn)清楚監(jiān)考老師哪些事情可以做，哪些事情不可以做。一般考生可能會(huì)做的是拿鑰匙打開(kāi)儲(chǔ)物箱拿點(diǎn)吃的東西補(bǔ)充一下能量，以及去洗手間，這兩種行為基本無(wú)可厚非的。除此之外的事情，你需要和監(jiān)考老師打招呼得到其認(rèn)可才能去做。

GRE考前必看填空題
