FINE art new media，新媒體藝術(shù)專(zhuān)業(yè)作為美國(guó)的一個(gè)新興專(zhuān)業(yè)，近年來(lái)飛速發(fā)展，并且隱隱成了美國(guó)留學(xué)熱門(mén)專(zhuān)業(yè)。因?yàn)榫W(wǎng)絡(luò)媒體是傳媒、新聞界增長(zhǎng)最快的領(lǐng)域，新媒體專(zhuān)業(yè)將傳統(tǒng)新聞?wù)n程與數(shù)字媒體設(shè)計(jì)和管理結(jié)合起來(lái)。
此排名在純藝術(shù)類(lèi)別下，對(duì)作品集要求非常高，學(xué)校更看重申請(qǐng)者的藝術(shù)造詣。

The Portfolio
The Portfolio Review is the most critical component of the application. Applicants may submit:10-25 slides. SlideRoom only accepts Images (up to 10MB each), Video (up to 500MB each), Audio (up to 60MB each) and PDFs (up to 20MB each). Learn More
Interactive work: Document interactive software projects with screen-captured demonstration videos, ideally with narration. Please keep documentation under 3 minutes in length, and under 500MB. Let us know which programming languages you used.

– All applicants must submit a portfolio of work consisting of a maximum of 20 still images. Applicants whose work is time-based should submit stills and/or performance documentation as jpegs, in addition to submitting time-based work. Applicants with time-based media must upload pieces (up to four files, maximum), and for each submitted file include the title, date, duration, and a brief description in the corresponding “Caption” section. To best represent your practice, upload files with running time of three minutes or less. The combined total of the four files may not exceed 12 minutes. Optional: In addition to the four uploaded files, applicants may also submit two identical DVDs each with full-length versions of the excerpts uploaded online. You may submit work digitally via SlideRoom by providing a Vimeo link to your work or uploading the file directly into SlideRoom. Include a portfolio inventory list that indicates the title, size, running time, date, medium, your explicit role in the production (i.e. Director, Cinematographer, Script writer, etc.) and any other pertinent information about each piece. Work on analog formats must be queued to its starting point. If not in English, please include English subtitles. We no longer accept DVDs.
